PSU advice

Have been looking at PSUs but not sure which one to choose. Is the EVGA 700 GD a good one?

You better llok for a lower wattage higher quality PSU. The 700w of the EVGA GD is a bit useless because it's not a PSU I would recommand for a system with a powerdraw of 600w. The quality and topology of the unit is not built for the latest videocards and it's not a futureproof unit. Please provide us a link to the webshop you purchase your PSU.

Looking at that PSU list the other person listed I was also thinking about the CX650M.

Good PSU on the cx650m but it only has a 5 year warranty if you are OK with that.

 

What are you going to be using the system for? (Gaming...etc) The PSU does get loud when stressed.

Gaming and maybe some video editing. I think a 5 year warranty is fine.. how loud is a loud PSU?

35 DBA at high loads. Below 30 is considered silent. Sid may be able to recommend one that is better.
