Need USB inside the case

Any good recommendations for a PCIe card (less than £10 if possible), that has just a USB port but not on a bracket going outside the case. It needs to be internal.

I've only found these so far but one of the reviews say in a very weird non-techy way that it melted their devices so I'm conflicted by it. Any reliable recommendations?

 

It's for my grandma's PC that the all the grandkids use when they're at hers and I need to plug something in that won't get tampered with.

USB header to USB adapter? <-- Not necessarily recommending that one just the first example I found real quick to link to. 

 

Also they make internal USB hubs if you need to split the USB header.

If there happens to be an extra motherboard header you could also use one of these.

I'm not actually sure if there would be, I haven't looked at it for a while and am I only thinking because I'm going down there tomorrow, but thank you for the ideas.

All I know for sure is that there is at least one PCIe slot left because it's running on integrated graphics and she's been meaning to get a GPU for ages but nobody really uses the system enough to care.

Might just get this tbh - But other cheaper options would be nice since I don't feel like spending even £10 on this thing since I'm in the middle of two separate builds that still aren't finished.

Soo when you said you needed to plug something in that wouldn't be tampered, you just meant a Wi-Fi adapter?

Originally going to be a USB drive but it looks cheaper to just use an SSD from another computer over SMB

 

May have forgotten the objective in the first place when I posted that without context though
