DP no signal

The last few months I have had this issue a few times. I am playing a game on my pc and seemingly out of nowhere my monitor goes black and wont come back on: 'DP no signal'. When I try to reboot it will get to where I need to enter my windows password and then after 2 seconds the monitor turns off again and the fans on the gpu stop spinning. I tried everything I could find on similar posts and I concluded it's not monitor or cable related. The past times it would just kind of fix on it's own but now I am stuck. 

 

I have a ryzen 5 5600

Radeon 6750 xt

16gb of ddr4 ram

msi b550m pro
