The monitor is a Samsung Odyssey G3, had it for exactly 1 year, just yesterday ran into this problem.

I did some testing and I confirmed that it's from the monitor itself, not from the pc or cables and from the outlet, tried displayport and hdmi. It will barely work if you put it at 1080p 60hz and it has lines, Native rez is 1080 144hz, also you can see in the video I try to open the monitor menu to show that the lines also go in the menu and that it doesn't show when put at 120hz (that's the max that my laptop can do) and it has an almost black screen.

Here you can see that it doens't work when I turn it on and it should say no signal
