3070 -Updated- Can't update gpu bios

When i got my 3070 i updated the oc bios and never bothered to update the silent bios
When i tried to update it now i get a window saying unable to get the current bios version
Any idea why it is doing this?

My gpu is the f62 version

I have since been able to update the firmware from:
94.04.3A.40.10 
to
94.04.25.80.96

After updating i saw changes but the first issue is stil present
+500rmp to fans
2200rpm to 2800-2900rpm
+30w on power limit
270w to 300w
increase in stability when overclocking core clock and memory clock

currently running latest graphics driver
31.0.15.4584 (windows 11)
