1070ti help

Hi, I have a Gigabyte GTX 1070ti, about 4 years old, and bought new from best buy. I got a good year and a half out of it before I started getting random crashes and blue screens when loading up windows or loading a game up. I’ve never overclocked it nor have I overlocked my cpu or ram. I spent a few months talking with Microsoft support believing it was a windows error. I ended up getting a 1660 and everything worked fine since. Today I removed the 1660 from my system because it can’t handle the games I play nor the software I use to render cerakotes(as the name implies, I am a gunsmith, this PC is used for a number of things work related) and I wanted to give the 1070ti a shot again. I took the 1070ti apart to see if anything was noticeably fried and the actual core was the only thing that stood out to me. Half of the core was brown on the edges. I’m pretty sure it’s burnt but I’ve searched everywhere for answers. What I’m asking essentially is if anyone had a similar issue, is the card able to be saved, if so how? I’ve never seen a gpu have this happen and as said, couldn’t find anything online. I’ve tried to get a replacement from gigabyte but they never responded to me. I went to bring it back to Best Buy after it initially started its issues for a refund or replacement as well and being is it was a year after I had bought it they wouldn’t honor it. I can’t personally afford to buy another card due to student loans and I’m currently in the process of building a house and a shop and my money is thin. I can make the 1660 work for now but if there is even a chance of getting the 1070ti to work again I would love that. I guess I already know the answer but I just want to make sure.
