I was searching on how to connect fans in a NZXT H9 Flow (max. 10x120 mm fans), but I am still not sure if my conclusions are correct. Also I understand that I do not need a fan controller.

Let's assume that I have such parts:
case: NZXT H9 Flow

motherboard: ASRock B760 Pro RS

cpu cooler: MSI MPG CORELIQUID K360 V2

7 fans: Stella HP ARGB 120 PWM or Stella HP ARGB 120

I would connect stella hp argb 120 pwm/dc fans in a daisy chain to one of the argb controllers (one fan is 0.4A, port will work up to 3A) and to 4 pin chassis port for power (one fan is 0.1A, port will work up to 2A) and I will see 7 fans in signalRGB.
About this particular AIO - there is a tutorial to follow MSI tutorial, but from what I understand it is completely separate from those daisy chained fans. I will see 3 separate fans in signalRGB even though a splitter will be used.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

that sounds wrong.. you will need to use 3 different ports then.

most new mass fan config's comes with a controller that one port from each fan cluster you set up.. like 3 or 4 fans.. some fans you can daisychain all and then connect to the controller.

look at lian-li uni fan, TT swafan fans, if you need thicker than 25mm look at phanteks new fans altho lianli just came out with one around 28mm.. corsair has their LINK fans.

my lianli controller can connect up to 16 fans with one cable from each cluster of fans so 4x4 max..  needs 2 sata ports for power.. a usb2 port.. a argb, and a pwm port. all 3 for your mainboard.  i think the last uni fan supports daisychaining all fans into one cable, so would be needed if you are getting 5 fans in a row but still 16 as a max..  it's the usb2 connector that gives you individual control to each fan.. same goes for any controller of any brand.

AFAIK, if you have the correct software,  you should be able to see all 7 ARGB. However, I'm not sure about how you'll see the PWM since some software can and some can't, and I have no experience with Signal RGB.

For example, on RemOo's Fan Control, I can't see extra fans that are together on splitters or my repeater. Corsair iCUE, however, can for both ARGB and PWM.

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂
