Need some ideas for my next PC

jowest90

Budget (including currency): $2,500 USD MAX

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft, Satisfactory, City Skylines. Diablo 4, Battlefield/COD, Starfield.

Would also be used for development purpose (web dev and game dev), host a Minecraft server,

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): If possible, I would like to play games at 4k (more than 60 hz), but I'll be fine with 2K if it meant higher refresh rate.

So I'm looking into getting brand new PC. The last PC I built was a little over a decade ago and aside of reusing my drives and my peripherals, the PC itself is going to be all new.  With so many options now then it was 10 years ago, it's hard for me to decide what's the best value. I was also wondering with the holidays a few months away would it be worth waiting till then to get one then? I did made I guess I would call it a MOC build on newegg, but I wouldn't be fully against with what I found. Despite keeping up to date, I have no idea what's best path for me so I'm open for improvements and other feedback. Thanks

The only true 4K gpu imo is the RTX 4090. 1440 gives you a great picture, high frame rates and doesn't break the bank. This allows you to use DLSS which is a must have for Starfield.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
