So I have a mx blue keyboard which annoys the hell out of everyone so i was told to decrease my recording levels by right clicking the sound icon in the taskbar going to recording devices - properties - levels.

So i decreased it to about 85 and they didnt hear my mx blues. I also unticked the option in advanced - allow applications to take control of this device so that apps wont change my recording level. But when suddenly i looked if the setting stayed i saw the recording level changed several times to 67, 88, 99 and random numbers. And whenever i want to change my recording level the "Apply" option is greyed out and cant be clicked only the "OK" option

I think I might have solved the problem. In Skype my Mic volume wasnt all the way up and it was set to automatically set volume. I think Skype was the problem here.
