Hi,

I have a problem with motherboard(Aorus B450 elite). I wanted to play Faceit which requiers secure boot (anty-cheat etc.). I went to bios and I see that secure boot is enabled. As pro IT I decided to diable it and than alenable it again. SO I switch to diable go to Save and exit and than my PC wont even post. Fans, GPU rgb are working. On Motherboard lights are in loop: CPU->DRAM(it stays on it a few seconds)->VGA. I tried reseting CMOS. I treid switching rams. I Think that mobo is bricked but  maybe there is some other solution to this.

P.S. Im ready to try fix it with CH341A programmer before buying new mobo.

Mobo: Aorus B450 Elite

Cpu: Ryzen 5 5600

GPU: Rtx 3080 evga ftw3 ultra

Ram: Kingston 2x8GB 3000MHz cl16

Hi, your PC shouldnt be bricked, but you will need to re-enable Secure Boot again before you can get back into Windows and use it.  Unplug the PC, then hold down the powerbutton for 10seconds and then leave the PC to stand idle, unplugged for 1minute.

Plug the power cable back in, turn on the PC and give it 7minutes for the BIOS to appear, once it appears, re-enter the BIOS, Re-enable Secure Boot , Save + Exit and you should be good to go.

If your board allows for a bios flash without cpu, that is one way to fix the issue.

I had my old z390 board hard brick after enabling secure boot, and it didn’t support the bios flash without cpu. I couldn’t even get it to load the backup bios by manually clearing the main bios by shorting the appropriate pins on the bios chip, so had to get a new board. That was fun.

Hope you have better luck.

I suppose you could uninstall the cpu and ram and give the board power and do a CMOs reset. Then reinstall components and cross fingers.

That's too bad. I came here looking for solutions because I bricked mine just now. Did you successfully unbrick it using ch341a? Would love some tips if so.
