Depending on the prices there, here are some great silent switches

Cherry MX Silent

Boba U4

Kailh Midnight Pro Silent (available in tactile and linear)

Keychron Silent K Pro (the cheapest, but the 'loudest' among all of them)

Tech tips:
Although switches are the main source of the keyboard sound, but the sound will be determined on your overall keyboard build (keycaps, dampening foam, mounting system, etc). So keyboard without any foam and PCB contact with case will sounds louder than keyboard with a lot of dampening and gasket mounted PCB

What do you mean by everything else in this context? The keyboard chassis and the keycaps? Or just other switch alternatives that are cheaper? Because trust me, a huge chunk of Wuque products are annoyingly overpriced sometimes.

Found this by accident yesterday:

Another contender I just found: https://www.monsgeek.com/product/mg108w-kit/

PCB is 5-pin, so should be compatible with any MX style switch. I don't know about any potential shipping/import costs to Canada, nor do I have any idea about the quality. I just thought that 29USD seems rather affordable for a full-size kit. Plus I think they might also have a TKL version.

You will need a set of keycaps though, which will cost you something between 20USD and 200USD, depending on what and where you buy it.

My safe recommendation would be a Keychron V series, which range typically from ~70USD to ~110USD for the various barebones versions, plus shipping, keycaps etc. Keychron also has a canadian website you can order from, so I assume shipping/import taxes wouldn't be an issue.

Hi There!

I was wanting to have these ws silent linear switches, but was wondering how cheap i could get everything else brand new for.

I live in canada btw.

You mentioned you wanted a TKL in your last post.

Here's this TKL from Glorious on Amazon.ca for $70

and then just buy whatever keycaps look nice. btw, that kit is North-Facing LED, so it is incompatible with "Cherry Profile" keycaps.

You could also just make life a little simpler and buy a completed TKL and replace the switches since that's kind of the idea behind a hot-swappable board anyways.

and here is Keychron's Canada website with keyboards in ascending price
