GPU Stuck

Hi

 

I need to remove my gpu from my mobo. However when I pressed on the clip, it got jammed half way out the socket and is stiff. How can I remove this without breaking anything.

I would start by removing that little cable underneath the graphics card and then insert the graphics card fully again, and then try and remove it while having the lock pushed down. Sometimes those locks needs a firm push. And try your best to pull the graphics card out evenly.

Thanks for your help, however the card won’t go back in, it is jammed in the position that it’s in

Push back the lock again, make sure its fully pushed back and then just give it a hard tug.

Well, you have to do something right? Push the lock down and then the graphics card, at least that is what I would do before pulling out the graphics card. I would never pull out the graphics card, if it is in that position and stuck.
