Howdy folks,
As I wrote in the title, my laptop restarts on its own. As a result of my long search, I saw this problem in only one topic. Normally, the computer restarts or shuts down while playing games. On my computer, it shuts down while browsing in the browser or waiting on the desktop. Sometimes it also restarts in games that do not tire the system too much. In order to stay open, I need to keep open a game that uses the system to the fullest, such as RDR2. If the game is open, it can stop for days without closing. however, a little after closing the game, the computer restarts again. I also took a processor test with the diagnostic tool to see if it was because of the processor. Everything seems normal.
It's a problem that's been going on for months. When starting the computer, it restarts many times. I also mentioned this problem when I gave it to the service. I wanted to give it to ServicePoint, but I thought they would charge because my warranty period had expired, and I gave it to a service in my area. The events that have developed since the service have been as follows;
-They have renewed thermal pastes and pads.
-They indicated that one of the CPU fans is broken. I changed it by giving you the fee.
-They said the battery was dead. I asked them to disassemble the battery because there would be an extra charge. I'm using it like a desktop right now
-They said the BIOS battery needs to be changed. He's changed.
-During the format, they said that the problem was caused by SSD. They stated that there was no problem only when the HDD was installed. However, since the HDD installed system will logically be much slower, I had it installed on the SSD again.
-I installed the system on the HDD myself and disabled the SSD from Device Manager. At first it seemed like there was no problem. But the same problem kept happening again.
That's all I can think of right now. When I tried to write earlier, either the computer was shutting down or I couldn't quite figure out what to write.
RDR2 is currently open at the back. I'm writing from the Steam Browser :D
The information at the top was an article I wrote on a forum before solving the source of the problem.
I will write at the bottom for the next part after learning that the problem is caused by speedstep.
I saw that this problem is caused by SpeedStep. But when SpeedStep is turned off, my processor does not go up from 2.20 GHz either. This also causes a serious FPS decrease in games. I had it removed at the maintenance service I provided recently because my battery was exhausted. I'm using it plugged in right now. The same problem happened when the battery was plugged in. When I activate SpeedStep again, the system reboots in the wrong place. Sometimes when it opens, it closes many times. Is there a way that I can fully use my processor speed without turning on SpeedStep, or how can I solve this problem? When I switch to the computer, I will share the frequency values with AIDA64 when SpeedStep is turned off and on - if the system remains turned on long enough to perform the test. Thanks in advance.

@farques17

What a God awful wall of text.

An 8th Gen mobile CPU should be using Speed Shift Technology. If you cannot enable this in the BIOS then use ThrottleStop to enable this. Open the TPL window and check the Speed Shift box.

Speed Shift was introduced by Intel for their 6th Gen CPUs. Dell and a few other manufacturers were way behind the times and did not automatically enable Speed Shift like they should have been doing.

The service center might have done a crap job replacing the thermal paste or pads. The voltage regulators might be overheating. Turn the ThrottleStop Log File option on so you have a record of CPU performance. Play a game for as long as possible. Post some ThrottleStop screenshots and attach a log file. It might help show the problem.
