Help with finding a 10gb Ethernet nic.

Hi Everyone, i am looking for a 10gb Ethernet nic to expand my networking setup. i have used the Asus xg c100c. but i am having issues with longevity and stable connection. an intel nic is the dream but i know that is a little to rich for my blood at the moment. any suggestions on what has worked for you?

 

A bit of information,

system is used as a basic storage server.

i7-8700k

64gb ddr4 3200mhz

750w psu

Some of the "older" Intel 10 GbE cards are starting to show up refurbished from various sellers, and supposedly "new" from China sellers for ~$65 USD. Might be worth the risk?
