Good Day Everyone,

I Have this Predator PH315-51 2018 Gaming Laptop and its screen has been flickering for sometime now and steadily getting worse
I Tried reinstalling the GPU drivers, cleaning the heatsink and reseating the Pin on the monitor and still getting flickering

What should I do
Do i change the monitor itself like Linus did on this Video

do you have a second screen (Monitor or a TV) if so plug in the hdmi and test if the issue is present on the screen. If Yes it is software or your GPU If No it is your screen or the connector. Try lowering the refresh rate to 60 this might fix the issue temporally and if you have optimus ( aka mux switch) try disabling or enabling it.

(The video is not loading properly loading as a audio clip)  If that is the case it is more than likely is the screen. But you can try going into bios and changing the mux switch (Maybe a option exist in acer control software prob called dedicated gpu only mode or something) setting bcz it is a Helios it maybe has one. if you cant see it in bios clicking Ctrl+S will reavel the hidden options. If you have warrenty they likely change the screen for free. You can find replacement screens for 50$ on ebay and it is a worthwile replair if you are ok with the specs.
