Hey guys, I have a weird problem first my specs are [ MSI x570 edge gaming Wi-Fi - RYZEN 7 3800x - RTX 3060 ]

So my problem is when I'm downloading through clients or browser my CPU usage immediately jumps to 100%

I'm using 5g Wi-Fi I don't have ethernet in my place to test it but my current download in steam between 90-145Mbps [ Kingston NVME SSD M.2 ]

Is this normal issue does my net causing my CPU to run crazy like this?

To download something it uses CPU, So it's very very normal.

Yes. What part of the computer do you think handles all the decompression and unpacking of the packages once they've been downloaded? The CPU processes everything. Even several LTT videos where they get such a high download speed that the bottleneck that was limiting their download speed was their processor not keeping up...

So if I'm not misunderstand you, this is not harmful to CPU in any way
