Photo Sorting?

Anybody know a good program to sort through a few thousand images and delete duplicates? Had some backup/restore issues and would rather not spend hours sorting pictures

There are a couple free tools that you can use for finding image duplicates. Some range from just comparing file and size names, to checksum comparison, to image analysis. Some programs would be digiKam (https://www.digikam.org/) or Czkawka (https://github.com/qarmin/czkawka). I've used digiKam myself for my photo library for this same reason after downloading everything from Google Takeout.
