Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade to a new PC. Currently, I have bought 3 things.

- MSI GTX 3080 12GB

- Fractal case

- 750 PSU

At first, I thought of staying at Intel but I remember that AMD had a good CPU for work programs, I don't know if that's still the case. So now I don't know if I should go with Intel or AMD. I have attached a list of what I'm thinking of buying. This list is currently with DDR5. I always keep my PC for 5/6 years so I don't know if I should now upgrade to DDR5 or stay at 4.

If anyone has better suggestions for AMD's intel, please let me know why one of those 2 companies, and if I should stay at DDR4 or move on to DDR5.

I use my PC more for work than for video games. i edit in Premiere Pro and do color grading in Resolve

Actual models would be helpful, especially the case and PSU.

Both AMD and Intel have excellent CPU. At the moment Intel tends to offer better performance in Premiere and Resolve. See https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/13th-gen-intel-core-processors-content-creation-review-2369/.

The Kingston Fury Renegade NVMe drive is a bit pricy. The WD SN850X and Crucial P5 Plus are less expensive.

Did you verify that the memory kit has been qualified for the motherboard?

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
