I built my first PC a few months ago and it I feel that most of the IO ports don’t work as expected. My headset keeps loosing connection, my keyboard and mouse don’t only if they are plugged into a specific port.

I’ve got a feeling it’s probably a Mobo issue but I want to rule out user error before going to support from the manufacturer.

my internet speed is 100/20 and I cannot stream smoothly to discord, the gpu was pretty sensitive at the start of the install. Driver updates would cook the system.

I would love to do a complete check of every port and the system but I don’t really know if that’s a thing, like a usb tester? Or a motherboard test I can run

I dont know... Try to get a few usb connected devices, usb thumb drives (a few of them if not as many as yu have  ; if yu hv them laying around), mice , keyboards, and plug all of them into the same port one by one.. and see if most of them fail to get recognized by the pc...

If most of them(if not all) work, then the port is fine...

 Something like that

This sounds like you have not installed the motherboard chipset drivers and other drivers. Do that first. Go to the manufacturer website support section for your board to get the drivers.

While you are at it, get the latest bios and install that as well. There should be bios flash instructions available on the bios page.
