Your call. Guess you have to test the PSU then! 🙂

My computer forcefully restarts on a daily basis, im not sure what is the problem, in reliability monitor it says: windows was not properly shut down, sometimes it says that an app made it crash for an example i got yesterday: Windows Explorer stopped working

in crash/error logs event viewer i got: "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. this error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed or lost power unexpectedly"

I dont know what is the problem but i hope somebody can help?
my pc is older than a year and probably coming up to 2 years
What i have noticed: My power cable connected to the power supply is sort of loose it moves more than its supposed to before it would sit tight and move only when force is applied to move to pull it out of the power supply (of course i was taking it out gently to not rip out anything or break anything)

Disassemble everything, re-plug every cable, clean what you could, make sure everything is properly plugged or installed.

See if it still does it.

I am not able to do that at the moment however i am thinking of taking my pc to a professional to not do something unnecessary

There will be a log in the event viewer that will give us critical details on why the restart happened.

Here's how you find the logs, please share them with us: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-find-reason-pc-shutdown-no-reason-windows-10

Its over 20mb i cannot upload it

it does sound alot like a power loss error

you might have to get your psu or other parts tested if the issue does not resolve

There's so many reasons for a PC to restart randomly. Way easier to just look in the event viewer and find out for sure.

event 41

Okay so here we go:

1) make sure windows is updated

2) disable windows fast boot

3) reseat GPU and RAM

4) test for faulty PSU

Do the first 3 steps, and if they don't work. Maybe get a PSU tester to test for faulty PSU, or just, change it.

This methodology usually fixes event 41 😄

Hope it helps!

Its not gpu or ram
and im pretty sure my windows is not on fast boot and if it is, it has been like that for nearly 2 years so i highly doubt thats what it is aswell and my windows is updated
honestly its all looking into either my psu acting up or its my power cable that is loose and moving when plugged in more than its supposed to

If you wanna skip straight to the PSU, that's your call. I would highly sugges that you just reseat the RAM and GPU, they could have wiggled loose over time. Takes 2 seconds anyways.
