If you need help updating the BIOS or checking what BIOS version you are currently running, I can help you with that.

Look at the 5700X or even the 5600. Less power, less heat, less expensive while giving you similar performance.

I checked CPU-Z, and it shows that my current BIOS version is 3802. Now, I'm planning to upgrade to a new CPU. I'm new to BIOS flashing and unsure about the process. Should I first install the new CPU and then update the BIOS, or should I update the BIOS first and then put in the new CPU? Also, I'm concerned if my old CPU will stop working after the BIOS update.

Hey again!聽 BIOS Version 3802 is a later version than what you need for the 5800x so you do not need to update or mess with the BIOS.聽 You can put the 5800x in the motherboard and boot up just fine 馃檪聽 Please double check your BIOS version by turning off you computer and starting it again but now you spam the delete key from the start so you get into the BIOS itself, in the top left it should correctly say the BIOS version. Its just to make absolutely sure, but yeah, looks like you are good to go 馃檪
