Xbox Series wireless controller no input Win11

This is basically a "is it dead?" question. I was playing Dave the Diver yesterday when my Xbox controller (about 2 or 3 years old, but hasn't been used too much) randomly stopped accepting inputs.

The lights on both the controller and wireless adapter are both lit so it should be connected but its not showing up in device manager and I get no input.

When connected via usb it shows up there but still no input...

Sooo its probably dead isn't it?

 

(I'm on Win11 with what should be the latest updates)
