Here is the list of parts I plan to use for my custom built hackintosh computer...

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3JuMr

But... I need help, first

  1. Are my parts all compatible for a hackintosh?
  2. I plan to use this as an editing computer, is there a better setup for the same price

Thanks!

Also, I will do some 3D should I go AMD or Intel?

Thanks again!

Well at least get a 7200 RPM's hard drive, the 5400 is way slower, also go down from 1000 watts to 860 like the guy above said, 860W can run 2 770's and a 4770k easily so there's noneed for 1000 if you're not planning on 3-way SLI which I wouldn't recommend. Otherwise it looks fine! :)

Emmh... Maybe consider killing yourself before you talk to me?

Pople on this forum though some of them had a brain, turns out, no.

Do get Intel for a hackintosh, please!

AMD and Hackintosh is not a good idea (at least it used to be...).

Here is a Hackintosh Guide listing all of the compatible components.

"I genuinely dislike the promulgation of false information, especially to people who are asking for help selecting new parts."
