Hello all, my current PC is housed in an old Corsair Carbide Series Spec-03, still a good enough looking case for me and good enough airflow, but yesterday I joined discord and my friend said "It sounds like you're talking in an 8 bit game" and I did the in-discord mic test and sure enough my mic had the right sound level but a very low quality sound. After some troubleshooting I found that the mic input on the back of the case works, but I use a headset so it severely limits my movement having it tethered so far away from me. I think that I need either a replacement front IO PCB, or just a replacement 3.5 jack. I found the exact PCB on alibaba but it seems like it's only for bulk purchase. Anyone have some helpful input? Thanks

You can also get a 3.5mm extension cable so the mobo jack could be used instead. That seems like the most practical solution. If everything else on the front IO works i'd say go with the cable extension instead of replacement or repair.
