help im desperate

Hello everyone, this is a follow up post to a previous one I made.
So I switched my motherboard from An asus rog strix b550-f gaming, because I was having ethernet issues. Everything else was fine.

I switched to an MSI B550 Tomahawk, finished setting up my pc, and was greeted with a red cpu light. Everything else turns on, I just get no display. If I switch my NEW CPU to my OLD one, it works. I've tried updating bios to numerous and recommended versions by an msi support person, and nothing works. I've taken off cmos battery, connected the 2 pins to reset it, and nothing works. Everything turns on, my gpu, my cooler, my ram, I just get no display. System specs are listed below, and remember everything worked on my previous  motherboard, I just had ethernet issues. I dont know if its the cpu or the motherboard, and I dont know what to do. My old CPU is a ryzen 5 2600 btw. I THINK its the Motherboard since if the cpu was damaged Id imagine nothing would turn on like the ram and such but I don't know. I'm sort of an  amateur still.
