I found a pretty sweet deal for a "prebuilt" computer (built by the seller).

- RTX 3060Ti

- i5-10400F

- 16Go of RAM

I was worried the CPU might bottleneck the GPU, will this really be an issue ? I only play in 1080p and I don't relaly care about RT.

Afaik the motherboard, an MSI H510M-A PRO, only support the 10th and 11th gen of Intel CPU. Is it worth to upgrade the CPU ?

Thanks.

bottlenecks happen through usage , not parts simply existing in the machine

WHAT games at 1080p , pong or cyberpunk 2077

There are many overheating issues on 11th gen , too high power draw

Wouldn't be worth upgrading unless you find really good deals

This i5 should still be enough for 3 more years (my guess only)

Nah on 1080p it already no longer make sense unless if you're stuck with LGA1200 board in hand, AM4 with 5600 is cheaper and not going to be cache choked once you fired a bullet. That board also isnt going to play ball with the i7 so i wouldnt bother. How much would it cost in USD?
