Graphics Card

Go to solution Solved by Failure 101,

I have been planning out my PC build for a while now and I have the motherboard, cpu, cooling fan, fans, a case, ram, ssd, moniter, and essentially everything except the GPU. I do plan on buying a gpu but at a later date, is this ok and will I still be able to use the PC. I understand it wont be easy to run games at high maintenance. I have a MSI B550-A PRO motherboard and a AMD RYZEN 5 5600X CPU. Also if anyone can assist me, what is the cheapest but best resolution to being able to connect to wifi with my pc???

I'm sorry but you want the cheapest GPU so you can use your PC on the internet?

Cuz you're buying a good GPU later?

Basically any PCIe GPU.  Even some $19 piece of ass... example only, probably can find cheaper.

Errr with a 5600X you won't have *any* display *at all* without a discrete GPU...

Yes, but with no display you can only switch it "on" and see fans spinning, RGB and such 😞

Just to clarify when you say no display are you refering to not having the gpu or not having a monitor? I have a moniter set up already if so.

No display = no way to display image on a monitor without a GPU, a 5600X CPU has NO graphics chip at all (not like usual Intels non F)

Why not the 6600 or the 6650xt

Glad you two figured it out, ya lost me with the sacrificing the king comment which made absolutely no sense to me for which GPU to buy.

6700XT is a good card, solid suggestion.
