Budget (including currency): ~700€

Country: Italy

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Various games (currently forza horizon, civilization, jedi survivor), video encoding, compilation, some machine learning training and inference

Other details: I'm upgrading a computer that I've built 4 years ago, the parts I marked "already purchased" are parts that I will salvage from my old build. I'm asking if you could suggest improvements or alternative parts for the ones I'm thinking to buy. Furthermore, in the future, I plan to upgrade my graphics card if the prices decrease. Also, I'm looking for a motherboard with a good soundcard.

I'm not looking for RGB stuff and other power consuming useless stuff.

Some other question:
- Is the software to manage the Asus motherboard somewhat decent?

Thanks in advance!

What's your current platform ?

Imo for the tasks you've listed you'd be way better off upgrading the 1600Ti rather than the platform, and with your limited budget you should go AM4 if you really need to upgrade a crappy old system
