Just a GPU upgrade, everything else is solid.  A 6800xt is definitely doable with the rest of this and you see a massive improvement in framerate in every game.  There’s nothing wrong with the 3050, but that’s all I would upgrade at this time.  Nothing else would be a worthwhile improvement.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.

For streaming and better fps, obviously GPU upgrade is in order.

I haven't followed the progress of AMD's streaming capabilities, but last I checked (few months ago), it is pretty close to Nvidia's, so I'd assume it has gotten better since then.

The best upgrade considering your CPU is definitely 6800XT, 6900XT/6950XT might be bottlenecked in 1080p for CPU intensive games.

If you for whatever reason insist on Nvidia, going for latest gen would be better, seeing as 3070 only has 8GB VRAM which is very not future proof and 3080 (and up) is very heavy to drive in 1080p, not to mention the pricing.

So I would only suggest AMD.

Occassionaly visits the forum when I have nothing to do at work.
