Hi, guys

First time poster, long time lurker. Was hoping to get some insight on my problem.

I live in an apartment building. On the 9th floor with direct view of the parking lot. Been having some problems with a neighbor using our spot so we want to install a camera, either a blink or a ring.

What device can I get to give the camera access to our wifi? A repeater, range extender?

Would love to hear what you guys think.

Thank you!

Geral

Where would you put the repeater / range extender?
Do you have power there?

Would your neighbors (or building owner/landlord) allow you to use electricity for such a device outside of your apartment?

So, 50m? And there are no obstruction in the way (like trees, billboards etc.)?

For 2.4GHz you might not need anything except to position the AP antenna close to your window, if that fails you can swap the omni antenna on your AP for a directional antenna.

I think your camera solution doesn't solve anything, either talk to the neighbour or just put a parking barrier on that spot.
