My Acer ED242QR monitor won't receive a signal

I just moved my PC to a new place and when I went to start it, it just showed "no signal." This isn't the first time as this tends to happen whenever I unplug my monitor, so I reinserted my cables (even holding the display cable in place for a minute) and restarted my computer again. Nothing changed. Then I decided to use a different input (the DVI port) even turning off the auto-source feature, but all to no avail. So here we are. I can't really do much further testing as I don't have another monitor to check anything else that I can think of. So, with all that, does anyone know what might be wrong with it?
