Budget (including currency): 2800 EUR

Country: Poland

Will be used for: just gaming 1440p / 4k  144hz

Details: Green card for best RTX; Life span 5-8 years; I considered Ryzen 7 7800 x3d but since it has all those problems with BIOS I go for i7; no over clocking; don;t care about looks, window, lights etc.; wi-fi and blth needed

Build: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/HVJLzf

Questions:

1. Is this air cooler enough or should I go for AIO? I want to build and just leave it instead of doing some maintenance after 5 years which will be necessary with AIO but I don't know if air cooler is enough for i7-13kf

2. Is Ryzen 7 7800 x3d and option now with BIOS issues? I can update BIOS but this issue is not solved yet so I'd rather just buy it without having to do maintenance right from the beggining.

3. Deepcool AK620 - does it make sense to get zero dark?

Thank you for your help

If you don't care about overclocking you can get the i7 13700F instead of the KF version. Isn't the Zero Dark version just changes in the coloring that makes the silver part black? I think the ak620 should be enough.

My First PC
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Cooler: Asus TUF Gaming LC240
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-f gaming
RAM: 4x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RS (3200 MHz, CL16)
Storage: 1tb Samsung 980 Pro
Graphics Card: Asus Dual RTX 2060 OC
Case: Deepcool Matrexx 50
Power Supply: Corsair RM650x
Headset: Razer Blackshark V2
Keyboard: Corsair K70 Pro Mini (Speed Silver switches)
Mouse: Razer Viper Mini
Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).

Air cooler's are enough for 13th gen Ryzen. I would just recommend a higher quality one like the NH-D15 or NH-D15S.

That board is going to struggle with that cpu when it hits turbo boost due to its 8 phase configuration. Those Gaming X boards are good for 13500, 13400 and 12400. Look for a 12 phase board for that i7 such as the Gigabyte B760 Aorus Elite, MSI B760 Tomahawk, MSI B760 Pro or the Asus B760 Tuf Gaming.

Good call considering i took 13700 as a "just because" as well.

F 2.1 GHz vs KF 3.4 GHz. I know they turboboost almost the same value but doesn't base frequency also matter?

Z790 costs more than B760. Why would you pick it over B760? ? What advantage does it have?

You had almost the same motherboard in your original list. This one is just better in terms of longevity, VRMs, and wifi & bluetooth (although your original one was wi-fi and bluetooth too. You can still pick a B760 motherboard just fine.
