After changing to Z590 from ryzen 5800x,i got no (knock on wood) white flashes on my main or secondary monitor, no more amd keyid error (SCEP-Certificationregistration) https://community.amd.com/t5/processors/failed-to-initialize-scep-certificationregistration/td-p/495156 and i got lower temps

I now have an i5 11400f + a new mb that matches my rx 6700 xt with low temps + no weird artifacts many times every week

only have a corsair H60x rgb elite but wanted the flexibility of placement and support for am5 and socket 1700.

I want just a little more power without having to go for a 125 watt tdp cpu, therefor an i7 11700 cpu, im just not shure about temps

A 125 watt tdp cpu like a 11600kf would of course get a little hotter then my 11400f, the point is to have a 65 watt cpu (it may peak higher as long as it's in the 125 watt area),  one i don't need to oc to have more power then my 11400f

The problem is i just don't know how hot a 11700 or 117700f get's at max load, if it's to much for my taste, i did own a 5800x 80-85c ish at co -30 and vcore offset 0.625 (cpu stresstest with not gpu load 4 out of 5 test), still hotter then you would expect considering i lowered it as much as i could in the bios with low noise setting for the fans.

Have to guess since no one pro site, techpowerup,guru3d,tweatown,kitguru)has reviewed the cpu only the kf or the regular k cpu, stock every 11 gen should be fine,it's when you oc it, the temps can go crazy, even with a max temp of 100c i don't want to go near it at all, never a super hot cpu again

Know my cooler isn't the biggest but undervoltinmg my 5800x it still could go in 70's when gaming.

I'm unsure what exactly you want to know.

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂

temps

I do kind of want an i7 11700 but i don't know how hot it really gets, since test of it is usually only in comparisons video between i7 11700 and other cpus where they test the cpu in games, not max temps

Also it's a 65 watt tdp cpu but can still be hot, my 11400f is alos a 65 watt tdp cpu and the same goes for a 11900 but i highly doubt they all 3 get max temps within the margin of error
