Short: Does display port monitor daisy chaining work with M2 Max MBP via usb-c cable?

 

Extended situation: I`m planning to buy 2 monitors for remote work, paired with my already-bought M2 Max MBP. Right now best candidate is Dell P2723DE , (need 2 monitors and 1440p because of industry standers in VFX and so on) because in theory I can daisy chain 2 of these, keeping my cable number 1 from my laptop. Although I am not so sure it will work. Talked with Dell and Apple support, and both said conflicting information.

 

Does anybody have experience with this solution? Thanks for reading!

MacOS does not support DsiplayPort daisy-chaining.
