Hey gang,

I've just ordered a bunch of parts for a new build and want to know if anyone has a better backup solution than I am currently using.

My current setup is very jank (I've never really had the money to throw at making a nice setup). So I'm currently running a laptop as my desktop with a 500gb m.2 SSD, a 1tb 2.5 SSD, then I run AOMEI Backupper. I run a daily backup of my two SSD's to a 4tb external HDD, then the spare space on the external drive I use for anything that I don't care about having backed up (shows, movies, etc).

The rig I've ordered is going to have 2 m.2 SSD's, one for the OS, Programs, Games, etc. The second 2tb drive is going to be for files for university and my personal projects (Maya, Blender, Unity, Unreal, etc). I then have a 4tb spinning rust drive that I want to back those drives up to daily.

I'm fairly happy with AOMEI, but I'm currently running the free version so I have to go in and clean up old backups as it makes new ones each day. The paid version automatically wipes old backups as it goes, so that's the direction I would like to go. But I thought that maybe some of you guys might know of some better solutions that I can implement?

Thanks in advance gang!
