Usually no, never use the original cables even if the new PSU is in the same line up.. But with corsair that is fine with the RM series. Depending on if you have an older RM750 and a 2021 or newer RM850 of course..   If you want to be extra safe, changed all the cables.

Actually rewatched a LTT video yesterday and he went over that exact same thing haha. I timed it, listen to what he says 🙂  The video is fun to watch though. This is also why corsair made the PSU compatability cable list as they know people wonder about this.
