Ok so since a few weeks I have been getting the WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR BSOD randomly when gaming.

Unfortunately I can't remember when it started.
I rarely every had BSODs with this computer, but I remember the system became unstable when I OCed my RAM, which I long since reverted.
Another BSOD happened when I messed around with 2 Win 10 tweaking tools, WinAero Tweaker and Ultimate Windows Tweaker, after which I recovered Windows to a restore point made before the changes.
Sometime after that I also had a BSOD after a weird firmware update for my Corsair Commander XT which broke it.
I remember at least 1 different BSOD error, but I can't remember which one, when, and caused by what.

Since then I have installed Windows fresh, kept away from the above-mentioned software and hardware, reset my bios to factory default, used a driver updater tool to get all the latest drivers, plugged my fans into my MOBO and into a different fan controller without drivers/software, nothing. Also, no matter what settings I set and what guides I follow on how to get a crash dump or minidump, I just can't get any. If the % shows up at all it stays at 0% for hours and there's never any sort of dump file.
EDIT: I also re-seated and cleaned all the hardware in my PC, except for the CPU, only cleaned the cooler. I also cleared the CMOS.
I also tried the GPU on a different but slower PCIE slot.

I still randomly get BSODs in games, but here are the things I do know:

- Only happens in games or benchmarking/stress-testing software, but very randomly.
- Temps are always fine.
- All OCing disabled apart from the factory-OC of my GPU.
- Happens without any USB devices attached and installed except for M+K.
- Happens with and without fan controllers.
- Always starts happening randomly after a few days, after which just getting into a game and running around or loading things for a few seconds reliable causes the BSOD.
- Can be fixed for a few days by turning off PC, unplugging power and holding the power button for a few seconds to drain stored power.

reset CMOS maybe its some crap happening with the BIOS.

Sorry for the limited help but this is way out of my reach

I hit 700W on an i5 with a NHD15

Also I'm 14 so please just confirm anything I say with someone more experienced

You came here with BSOD in games, but you forgot a thing, which game you use and when happen this?

Sorry didn't think it would matter.
Happens in all games I played during this time which is ESO, Vermintide 2 and BDO.
As for the benchmarking software it randomly happened in Unigine Heaven.

Looking for error
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000028099/processors/intel-core-processors.html#:~:text=If you receive a blue,or corrupted memory (DRAM).

it seems that you have an issue is some place ...

Harddrive, CPU, Powersupply, RAM, or even a corrupted one
Steps you should try:

1.- Try reset BIOS, if this not works, try updating or re-flashing the BIOS into the Motherboard

2.- Check your memory sticks, or is bad hold by Motherboard, clean the contacts and re-set the memory sticks, just in case

3.- BSOD can mean too when shutdown about an Overheating component, try using HWInfo or other tool to monitor your hardware, if you can bring a dumpfile with the log can be excellent

4.- Hardware issue, it can happen when something is failing in doing the job

5.- Driver issue, maybe you have some corrupt drivers, even on windows fresh installs it could happen they have a buggy driver start with the sound, memory test, temps, cpu (additional drivers from manufacturer) plus a fresh install of GPU drivers at default to see what it happens.
6.- Reinstall the game, or use a tool to review the file checksums (usually games have a repair tool, just in case)

---

- Can be fixed for a few days by turning off PC, unplugging power and holding the power button for a few seconds to drain stored power.

What is taking me into notice is this ...

¿Maybe your motherboard have an issue with voltage? is like having static or residual charges ... so prioritize with Motherboard checks (plus reflash BIOS) and check that power supply, that you need to "Drain stored power" means there could be a short-circuit somewhere

Hi, welcome, Hi I would try reset bios by jumper. That can really help. The WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR often relates to incorrect or faulty voltages set during the overlock process, making your operating system unstable. The easiest way to cross this off the list is to reset your system BIOS and remove the effects of any overclocking. You need to enter your system BIOS or UEFI menu.

There is a voltage problem it seems. Try a full reset of bios. Try just one stick of RAM. Just to test stability in games.

Bit of a tech guy, converted to PC's when consoles did not entertain me enough, the last console being an Xbox, was fun with Halo multi-play though. But  the want to discover, to test, to learn more about computers drove me to levels I had never known...

Some GPU's I have had, 8800GTS 384MB, 7800GT, GEFORCE 4 MX440, 250GTS,  770 GTX, 1650 GTX, RTX 3050 Plus many other GPU's over the years...

The respect I have for LMG is massive like a black hole, sucking in all the knowledge, I watch their awesome video's, their knowledge is like that of a God. Seriously some say they are number 1 in the whole wide world. LMG is like the INTEL fabrication plant. Beaming with technology goodness...

Yes but 2 problems.
First I don't know how to check my PSU. I read online that I would need special hardware tools for that.
And second, I'm no electrician, but why would an electrical problem take days without exception to cause issues? I can always run games several days before I get the BSODs again, and then it happens whenever I let the game run a few minutes, though usually only after running around or doing other things that seem to load in assets.

I think this behavior is more indicative of a memory problem?
I ran several RAM tests and it checked out, but I will use one RAM stick at a time next time it happens again, though whenever I turn off my PC and move hardware around, that seems to do the same trick as holding the power button, so every time I do it I have to wait several days to see whether it's completely fixed or just temporarily.

Like I said I tried all these things already, except for checking with 1 RAM stick at a time.
I will do that next.

Reflash the BIOS, if the BIOS is corrupt then not matter if you clear it from CMOS, is still getting corrupted ...
There should be something is messy with hardware thing, if by reflashing your BIOS still having this issue, you should come back and try another thing, but or something is messy with voltages or something isn't going well ...

You told you make a driver update via a tool ... wrong way to do it ... how you can sure it will install the correct drivers?

What i mean about the dump file, is a log HWInfo give you about what is doing and when...it should let you create a file and look for it

I tried to look for a more info of why you can only fix in that way, but it seems you have a hardware issue and is somewhere, you are not supposed to be "Draining the power" every few days just to get your pc booting ...
Do what we told, re-flash your bios, preferably with newer versión ...
Try sticks one by one in different slots
try without GPU

And for god's sake, try it with the "Manual Installation" of Drivers ...
