Unless you buy a DSL compatible router, which plenty exist, then no. You can go RJ11 to RJ45 and back to RJ11 but you can't just convert RJ11 to RJ45 and have it work on a normal ethernet port.

That's not Ethernet on the telephone side, so the ISP router is acting as your modem.

You would still need a DSL modem on the phone side (either standalone or built into your router) in order for your Internet connection to work.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

ye can i get a small modem to put inline as such so i dont have to have 2 AP's next to each other on the shelf just want to replace the ISP' router for something smaller but i cant seem to find one but then i am not the best with networking so i maybe looking for the wrong thing/ in the wrong place

You cannot sadly, you can however disable wireless on a router and just make it act as a wired router/modem basically

As mentioned, you'd need to buy a router with a built-in DSL modem and that can get interesting as different modems may perform better or worse than your ISP provided one.  ASUS in particular make good routers, but awful DSL routers.  Technical users often deliberately have two boxes, one just for the DSL side and one plain ethernet router, to get the best of both worlds - the opposite of what you want.

Are you in an area that can get FTTP?  That way the box converting to ethernet is really small (if its an Openreach FTTP service, other networks often have much bigger units), mounted to the wall and you'll get much more consistent speeds.  Although some DSL routers that support bridge mode can also mount to the wall near the phone socket, allowing you to run ethernet to your own router, but they're not exactly small.

ASUS B650E-F GAMING WIFI + R7 7800X3D + 2x Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30-36-36-76  + ASUS RTX 4090 TUF Gaming OC

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) Backup: GL.iNet GL-X3000/ Spitz AX Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz) WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz)
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~1200Mbit down, 115Mbit up, variable)
