RTX 4080 black screen

i just bought my RTX 4080 (gainward phoenix)  once ive seen the asus logo load i get black screen (Asus Bf550-f  motherboard) 

 

everything work as normal when i use a different GPU so im pretty sure the motherboard is alright, and i do have a 1000W  PSU so that should be more than enough. 

i found out that i should try the  NVIDIA GPU UEFI Firmware Update Tool,   but i dont really know how to install it with a black screen..   is it possible to install it via the flash bios thingy on the motherboard?

A little update, i borrowed a gtx 1060 and im running both cards.     i just ran the firmware update tool and it says the rtx 4080 is allready supported.
