Fair yeah. I tryed switching between full range and not. It didn't seem to make a difference

Decided to test it on my own (been a long time since I touched Realtek). Ticking Bass Management and unticking Full-range speakers works for me but subwoofer is too quiet. Maybe that's why you thought it didn't work.

On Realtek driver go to Room Correction and increase subwoofer level by 10dB and/or increase your sub volume by dialing knob up or on your AVR.

I'm trying to use analog audio to do a 5.1 setup I've done it before on a different PC a couple years ago and everything's working fine except bass. I get all five speakers working and the subwoofer even works when I test it but I get no bass in music at all I've set the receiver to small speakers and I turned on bass management. The only time I ever get stuff coming through the sub is a video that is encoded in 5.1 and it does have the sub. But everything else I use won't send any signal to the sub. Music is especially bad. There's no enhancement tab on speakers I updated the drivers multiple times I've reset my PC I've done so many things I've wasted so much time I don't know what to do.

ASRock B550M pro4

Sony STR-DE598

The sub works on the test tone but it just doesn't feel like it's redirecting any low frequencies to it.

Can confirm the subwoofer works in games as well It just doesn't do anything if it's stereo so it sounds extremely tinny because there's very little bass. How do I adjust the crossover frequency in Windows because the receiver settings are great because if I use optical or analog sound besides the multi-channel in it all sounds really good it's just this multi-channel in

The realtek driver doesn't have any audio enhancements like Windows bass boost or anything it's there if I use the window settings but then I don't have 5.1 so defeats the purpose

Try unticking full range speakers for all front and surround speakers and turn on bass management.

Usually full range means these speakers would play bass frequency but 99% sure your speaker isn't capable, so bass management allows your subwoofer to take over bass frequency instead. The only reason you can still hear subwoofer while testing is it also serves as its own channel, but games may or may not utilise it.

Finally I'm not too sure if these fixes would work for Realtek, if all hopes lost try getting sound card instead. I have Creative Soundblaster Titanium on my XP PC and bass management option definitely works.
