New build RAM issue

Go to solution Solved by Zestiq,

Update: Bios update sorted it!

Hi everyone!

So I decided to build myself a new computer for the first time since 2014. I have discovered that a lot has changed since my last build! I haven't really been keeping up with the scene or the latest tech until I recently decided to get back into it (After my gtx 780 SLI build from about 10 years ago finally died). Before I started researching for the new build I didn't even know what an M.2 slot was 😂.

Anyway fast forward to now and all my parts have finally arrived and I have everything together built on the motherboard box for a test run. I went to boot her up, all the pretty lights came on, but the display did not come on and I had the ram error light come on. Naturally I pulled the ram out, reseated it to make sure it was fine, but alas the same problem. I moved the ram to the other channel, same issue. I then tried just a single stick and hooray it booted into the bios! I have since tried both individual sticks and it boots no worries with each one individually but as soon as both are installed it goes into error every time and will not boot.

Was just seeking any tips / advice on a potential fix for this issue before I assume the motherboard (or I suppose the CPU maybe) has a fault. PC built with all new parts, happy to provide the specs if people think thats relevant.

Thanks William.
