I just build a new PC on my own, seemed to do everything right. Everything is working, except my GPU, it just won't show up in the Device manager or somewhere else. I disconected it several times, connected it into the second PCI-E slot but it just isn't working altough the fans are spinning.

PC specs:

Gigabyte G1 Sniper Z87 mobo

Intel core i5 4670k

Samsung 840 Evo ssd

WD Caviar Black 1tb

Corsair CX 750M Psu

16gb corsair vengeance ram (black)

Cooler Master 212 Evo

Zalman Z11 plus case

I looked for a solution everywhere but couldn't find anything. I installed my OS today, started downloading drivers and bios updates and updates and stuff and when I wanted to install my GPU drivers it said ''Error, required hardware not found' altough I had my Msi Geforce gtx 770 plugged in and spinning. After that I looked into the Device Manager and under Display adapters it would only show my Onboard graphics but no video card. (also nowhere else). Also I had my HDMI cable plugged into the motherboard all the time because with the 770 it wouldn't work.

Please help me find out how I could make my GPU show up in my system so I can download and install the latest drivers and geforce experience. Please ^^

I have plugged in the HDMI cable into the GPU and booted up, the screen then simply won't start (blackscreen) but if I plug it back into the motherboard it works just fine and I also have tried it with the Vga and DVI cable...

PSU cables are connected, fans are spinning adn 100%.....

I have changed the PCI lane aswell, still not showing up in the Device Manager.....

Can't install the drivers because the required hardware isn't found, as it says in the driver installation setup.....

Is returning realy the only option? I don't realy wanna wait another 4 days because I have already bben waiting a week now, building the PC and then waiting for the OS to get verified for students discount. And if I have the RMA, the GPU or the Mobo? Because for the motherboard it would be a lot of work doing all over again with the CPU and CPU cooler and cables................

Any other solutions?

Yash
