Hi,

Need some assistance.

I am having a strange problem.

When I place my GPU on to my motherboard, there will be no display on both the onboard and GPU but when I remove my GPU out of my motherboard there will be display for my onboard graphic card.

is it my motherboard PCI E is having issue or is it my graphic card?\

Have try swapping ram too.

You should elaborate with your complete spec, especially your motherboard, CPU, and Power Supply. Also, make sure that your GPU is fully seated, level, and clicked inside of the PCIE slot, and all of the PCIE power cable from your PSU is fully seated, level, and clicked inside of the pcie power connector on your GPU.

Motherboard: Asus H170 Pro gaming

CPU: i5-6500U

RAM: 32GB Kingston

Power supply: 630w power supply

GPU: asus strix gtx 970

More info was it was working the previous day before it stop working yesterday.

Just to check if half seated GPU will cause the onboard graphic to fail to display?

I was trying just now to make sure it was seated but still the same

Your displays should be plugged into the GPU, not the motherboard.
