So, what happened is yesterday I used new thermal paste on my PC then I started to use my PC normally but after like 15 minutes it crashed then it crashed a lot frequently at a point I failed to start the windows. So I installed new windows on my PC then it worked just fine but when I play games for like 30-40 mins suddenly PC crashes no error screen it just freezes the game and the sound goes like crrrrrzzzzzzzzzzzzzz then display is disconnected but the PC is still on. Since screen is disconnect and there is no sound I restarted my PC with the restart button on the casing. Then I used it normally playing valorant it crashed again. What is the problem here?

Could you give a little bit more information, could you provide a screenshot of your temps on idle, than your temps when you turn the game on, because this looks like overheating problem.

So if it's over heating why did my PC crashed when booting up?

Without proper contact between the CPU and heatsking a computer could overheat in matter of 30 seconds.

What temperetures does it get too when you start VALORANT for example, with uncapped FPS?

I had the same CPU for years, temps look just little bit higher than usual for idle.
You could also use CPU-Z stress test, temps shouldn't go over 80 by any means.

What are the temps, if they are going over 80, take the cooler out, clean the paste, put new paste then put the cooler back on and test, but when you put the cooler on, seat it best you can it could solve your issue.
