and btw is this upgrade even worth it? i mean 1080 is still pretty stable but i still want an upgrade. Will i notice big improvements in performance? Or is it just a tiny bit better and not worth upgrading?

A 1080 is probably (overall) on par with a 6600 (non-XT)

So, yes, there's an uplift, but...  it's not gonna be a huge one.

.

As for the rest of the build:
12600k is basically a 13400.  I'd look at the 13400/13500 and see how pricing compares to the 12600k.

Fine board, but you could probably get one for 75$ less and not miss anything.

Get a different cooler:  The AK-620 is cheaper, and way better than the one you have.

What storage do you have?

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂

so do you think i should replace the 6750xt with the 6800xt for $230 more?

And if so what cpu should i pair with it? i7-12700k?
the ak-620 is only 15 ish dollars cheaper in my country, and the noctua one looks better imo. Noctua one is also more quiet and i have 6 fans in my rig so that couldcome in handy.
What mobo were you reffering to?

If the SSD is your boot drive, install all or most of your games to the HDD or it'll be a problem. Get a 1-2TB SSD when you can and make that your boot drive, and relegate the HDD to backups and storage.  The bad part about using the HDD for games is it'll slow them down, so don't wait long to get that SSD. The alternative is to only install a tiny percentage of games on your tiny SSD.

I have the i7-12700k on a rug gaming h670 mobo. If you're at all concerned about heat, you might want to consider the nh-u12a instead.

Also, the 6800xt is rather better than the 6750 xt, so it's a matter of do you want to spend the extra? Or, wait until you find a deal on one from a good manufacturer.
