Should work. Be sure to update the firmware on that 980 Pro once you get it though, or skip Samsung this time around and get a WD SN850X or similar. Many Samsung 980/990 Pro drives currently have a SMART reporting bug that requires a firmware update to fix.

I don‘t think you need 64 gigs of RAM. I think 32 are enough.
