BIOS version update

I have been thinking about updating my BIOS for a while but, just now getting to it. Even though my PC runs fine with the current BIOS version, I like to keep everything up to date. With that being said I have a ASRock B450M Pro4 paired with a Ryzen 5 1600. When I went to download the newest version from ASRock's website I was presented with this message, "*ASRock do NOT recommend updating this BIOS if you are going to use Pinnacle, Raven or Summit Ridge CPU on your system." Given that I have a Ryzen 5 1600 I therefor have a Summit Ridge CPU. Although it's not the newest version, I was planning on getting version 5.30. The version currently installed to my MB is 4.60, to which it gives the same message as previously mentioned. Would it be safe to install the version I intend to install? Or should I just stick with the version my MB is currently on?

Flash the latest. Make sure not to skip some versions if there are versions that need to be flashed before flashing a new one.
