Hi everyone,

kind of a noob question, I think. I'm building my PC with a 13600K on a MSI Pro B660M-A, but when I tried to turn it on, nothing happened. Not even any fans spinning, the power LEDs not blinking, just nothing. I checked all the connections (24 pin, 8 pin for CPU, 4 pin for CPU and CPU fan connector) and everything seemed fine. I know that there are BIOS versions that don't support the 13th gen Intel CPUs, can that be the problem or is it more likely to be anything else?

Lots of thanks for any help in advance!

It's highly likely the board does not have a compatible bios.

if no lights or anything I would make sure you have good power to the PSU, try a different power outlet in the house and if your PSU came with a power on self tester slap that guy on and make sure the PSU is working. in a pinch without a tester use a paperclip and short the sense wire to ground (its what the tester does) on older PSU its the green wire but new PSUs tend to all be one color so look up the ATX standard to locate the pin but proceed with extreme caution in doing so.
