So, I used Holiday money to buy  quest pro controllers to use with my Quest 2 headset. The tracking is great in Quest native apps. I was surprised at how well the tracking works. On to the problem: the problem starts when I connect the quest 2 (with pro controllers) to my Steam gaming PC. I am running an AMD 5900x, 32 gigs of ram, a RTX 3090, on Windows 11. My Windows drive is a 512 GB NVME and my data drive is a 1 GB NVME. When running in Airlink or Virtual Desktop, there is a staggering amount of latency and my frame rate drops to between 80 and 15 fps in Steam VR games. I am using a wifi 6 router with only two devices on the wireless channel. Virtual Desktop tells me that I am connected at 860 gbps. When I reconnect the quest 2 controllers, my latency drops to single digits and my framerate is a stable 90fps (it becomes buttery smooth). I have not seen anyone speaking about this issue. I have watched several YouTube videos where the reviewers talked about how great the tracking was (which it is natively), but I didn't see any talking about issues in steam or oculus PC VR. I am at a loss here. It seems odd that no one else is having this issue and a search of the meta support forums doesn't mention anything. Is it something weird in my setup? Or do the pro controllers not work with PC VR? I like my quest 2 and pro controllers, but playing steam VR is nauseating. Any help would be great.
