Need Help with Controller PCB

So the one I circled around in black is not working, and by that its not getting a register that i clicked it, so im wondering if there's a way to fix this.

if im correct the actual button that goes on there will have some sort of pad like a carbon pad that shorts the connection...see if its worn out or something.

I tried one carbon pad from another but it didn't work, so problem is on the pcb.
